Part sexy dance party, part butt-kicking workout, this is not your average Pilates class! In the first half, we take Pilates mat principles and fuse them with movements drawn from burlesque and exotic dance to strengthen your entire body. Then we heat things up with a short but steamy combo that builds upon the floor work we learned in the first part of class. Low-impact but still challenging, this class invites you to get deeper into your body and to embrace your natural sensuality in a safe and supportive space.
We spend a good chunk of this class on hands and knees. Knee pads or mat are strongly encouraged.
